Special Industry Project

The CBE Special Industry Project course aims to mimic the real-world business environment. Students take on a consulting role to address current business issues in support of continual business improvement.

About CBE Special Industry Project

The CBE Special Industry Project format is the first of its kind at ANU, involving one industry partner who acts as the client and who provides a relevant business issue/ problem/opportunity, for which students will design and develop a solution.

Students will be mentored by a second industry partner from within the consulting industry, who will supervise each team to support the quality and applicability of their outputs, through to the final reports.

This course is structured to be highly competitive. Teams will present their recommendations to industry clients. Outputs should be practical, applicable to the organisation’s issue and of a commercial standard.

This course is a 6-unit elective for undergraduate students.

Previous industry clients have included:

  • Unilever
  • Community Living Australia
  • NAB
  • St John Ambulance
