Applying for Honours

Places for Honours are strictly limited and are awarded on academic merit. The Honours application process varies depending on whether the applicant is a current or external student.

Students should discuss possible supervisory arrangements with the corresponding honours convenor prior to applying.

Current ANU Students

Existing ANU students thinking of doing an Honours year should make themselves known to the convenor for the relevant Honours program at the start of their final year of undergraduate study.

Existing ANU students both Domestic and International need to submit an application form which is accessible from the Programs and Courses Website.

Students from Other Australian Universities

Students from other Australian universities are also encouraged to consider doing their Honours year at the ANU.

You will need to complete an application form accessible from the Programs and Courses website.

International Students

International Honours applicants should contact your nearest ANU Education Agent for further guidance.
