CBE has developed a new orientation website for new students to help you enrol into courses for your first semester.  Check out the Enrolment Fast Track website for details.  Click on your program and follow the steps.  

 

Current students

Programs and Courses contains all of the University's information on program requirements, and has course information such as prerequisites, proposed assessment, and course outlines

The CBE Student Office offers appointments for program advice to students throughout the year regarding enquiries that cannot be answered from the information provided on Programs and Courses. Your questions may also be answered in the FAQs

 

Appointments during O Week, Week 1 and Week 2

During the busy period between 13 February and 3 March, Student Services will not have individual appointments available.  Please send us an email with your questions and we will respond with advice.  

 

Appointments after Week 2

If you are experiencing problems which impact upon your studies you are strongly advised to seek an appointment with a College Program Advisor.

Program Advisors (UG and PG) appointments will assist with:

  • Program Requirements, Study Plans & Graduation Checks (these can also be done via email to info.cbe@anu.edu.au)
  • Planning your Program Transfer
  • UG Student Exchange enquires need to be emailed to info.cbe@anu.edu.au 
  • undergraduate academic progress (probation or show cause stduents will be emailed directly by the college, student central and the examinations department to alert them of this status)
  • graduate academic progress (probation or show cause students will be emailed directly by the college, student central and the examinations department to alert them of this status)
  • other academic matters

If you need an appointment with a Program advisor, please book below or online. All appointments are held on Level 2, Building 26C (ANU College of Business and Economics). Please let Student Services Office staff know when you arrive for an appointment.

When making your appointment you will be asked for your mobile phone number. This will only be used for SMS appointment reminders.

Appointments on offer after Week 2:

Undergraduate Appointments: Monday 10 - 12 & Wed 10 - 12

Postgraduate Appointments: Wednesday 2 - 4 & Fri 10 - 12


UG Students wanting to go on exchange:


College Endorsement forms and HELP forms do not require appointments. Leave the form at CBE Student Services to be signed and you will be emailed when it is ready for collection.

Credit Assessments for students whom have been accepted into an exchange university can be done via emails to info.cbe@anu.edu.au

Availability:

During very busy periods, such as February, March and July, appointments may be hard to get. You should expect to have to wait for at least a week, and or 2-3 weeks during busy periods. Program Advisors are only available at set times during the week and appointment times are heavily booked at the beginning of semester.

If you are unable to attend your appointment please ensure you cancel your booking in advance.  You can do this either through the online system, or by contacting the CBE Student ServicesIf you fail to do so, and do not attend your appointment, you may be blocked from making another student appointment for a period of 6 weeks.

The College of Business and Economics course outlines can be found on the college courses page. Programs and Courses has study options (recommended study plans) which are very helpful when planning out your degree. The CBE website also has study plans which for Undergraduate students show an example of how to plan out your chosen major (relevant for programs with compulsory majors). If you do not wish to follow these recommended study plans you can create your own however you need to be mindful of both pre-requisites and term offerings.

The CBE Student Services Office can offer program advice via email (info.cbe@anu.edu.au) to students throughout the year regarding enquiries that cannot be answered from the information provided on Programs and Courses. Your questions may also be answered in the FAQs

Students whom have been contacted by the examinations department regarding academic progress should also receive an email from info.cbe@anu.edu.au offering appointment times. It is very important you respond to these emails and attend an appointment. All appointments are held on Level 2, Building 26C (ANU College of Business and Economics). Please let Student Services Office staff know when you arrive for an appointment.
