CBE Research databases & software

Research databases

The ANU College of Business and Economics has a Research Database Advisory Group who review, investigate, update and co-ordinate the purchasing of research databases for the College and maintain a CBE Research Database Register for the use of CBE academic staff and for HDR students. 

Please note that, in addition to the databases listed, some research schools subscribe to discipline-specific products.  A list of these subscriptions can be obtained by contacting your school Research Database Advisory Group representative.

Research software

The College IT Support Team looks after the purchasing of software including research software for the College and maintains a register of software (register currenly under review for 2016) for the use of all CBE staff and most are also available for HDR students. CARMA International Video Library Program (IVL)

The CARMA International Video Library Program is a large collection of 1 hour videos on research methods and data analysis to which the College has membership. The videos include internationally recognised scholars on a variety of research methods (including qualitative and quantitative).  

The videos can be watched as a group or individually, as many times as you like. They can be used for your own research and also as a teaching resource for lectures & tutorials.
