CBE Early Intervention and Wellness Program

Staff who have a work-related injury may be eligible for funding under the Early Intervention Program (EIP).

The College provides funding to:

  • Provide preventative rehabilitation treatment to support the injured worker;
  • Effectively maintain or return people to work; and
  • Remove delays in accessing treatment.

Please see the guideline for information and how to make a claim for a minor work-related injury

What is Wellness?

Wellness is ... the state or condition of being in good physical and mental health.

What is wellbeing?

Wellbeing is ... conducting activities which promote and enhance the wellness.

The College provides staff with Stretch classes and massages as part of its Early Intervention and Wellness Program.

Massages

Massages will be arranged for all staff at the beginning and end of each term. These massages are seated and are 15 minutes in duration. The massages are most effective in the intervention for decreasing the duration of musculosketal aches, pain or discomfort, and for increasing range of motion.

There is no charge for staff for these massages.

When a therapist has been booked, an email will be sent to all staff indicating the dates that massages will be available.
