The flu is caused by a viral infection that is easily spread from person to person. It is a serious condition and complications arising from the flu can be debilitating, with symptoms lasting 1-2 weeks.

Once again the ANU Wellbeing Program is pleased to provide free flu vaccination to staff for 2018, jointly supported by the HR Division and the National Health Coop (NHC).

Appointments are now available to be booked online.

If you are an existing patient or a new patient of either ANU Health Service or NHC, please follow these steps:

  1. Please book online via the Appointuit Online Portal or via your smartphone by downloading the Appointuit App for iOS or Android.
  2. Once logged in Choose “Select Practitioner of My Choice”
  3. Select your preferred location  - “ANU - Staff and Students Only”
  4. Select “Myself”
  5. Select “Flu Clinic – ANU - 15 mins”
  6. Select your choice of session based on the current available dates.

If you have any issues with making this booking online, please telephone the ANU Health Service on 6125 3598.

To receive your vaccination you must present your University staff ID card to identify yourself as an ANU staff member, and provide your Medicare card at the time of your vaccination.
