Agenda is the policy journal of the ANU College of Business & Economics. It provides a much needed space for the research-based appraisal of current economic, social, and legal policy.
Agenda's 'Analysis' section provides an outlet for fresh policy research using any theoretical or econometric approach. The 'Argument' section provides a platform for the reasoned and scholarly advocacy of a particular policy position. The 'Retrospect' section accommodates interviews, the history of policy, doctrine and professional life. Agenda also publishes review articles as well as shorter reviews.
Agenda makes a special attempt to foster informed debate in its "Symposia" section, which publishes several compact reactions to a current policy controversy and actively encourages the submission to the editor of proposals for such symposia.
Agenda aims to be accessible to non-specialists and specialists alike, therefore all issues of Agenda are available electronically from ANU Press under the title Agenda: journal of policy analysis and reform. Print copies are available on application to the Editor. Agenda is also ECONLIT listed, and included in the PROQUEST and EBSCO data bases.
