Finance

  4. ECON8069 Business Economics, or STAT6046 Financial Mathematics

Actuarial Statistics

  1. STAT6039 Principles of Mathematical Statistics
  2. STAT6046 Financial Mathematics
  3. FINM7006 Applied Foundations of Finance
  4. BUSN7008 Financial Statements and Reporting

*Any student who does not have sufficient mathematics must commence in Semester 2 to enrol MATH1113 Mathematical Foundations for Actuarial Studies.

Actuarial Studies

Assuming a student who meets the pre-requisite courses for the following:

  1. ACST8040 Actuarial Control Cycle 1
  2. FINM7003 Continuous Time Finance
  3. STAT8035 Risk Theory

and one course from

Statistics

  1. STAT6038 Regression Modelling
  2. STAT6039 Principles of Mathematical Statistics

and two courses from

  • EMET8005 Economic Models and Introductory Econometrics
  • COMP6730 Programming for Scientists
  • #EMET8014 Fundamentals of Econometric Methods

#To take EMET8014 in Y1 S1 you need to also take EMET8005 concurrently.
