Flexible double degrees
- If both components of your Flexible Double Degree are within the College of Business and Economics (for example Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Finance), you may have courses which are required in both programs (for example both Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Finance require BUSN1001).
- If this occurs within your CBE FDD, you are required to do the course only once and replace the double up of the course with a University-wide elective or any course from CBE List 1.
- Please note that you cannot exceed 48 units (8 courses) out-of-college electives.
- You cannot exceed the maximum of 48 units (8 courses) at 1000 level (per CBE degree).
- If you are in a flexible double degree with another college, you cannot have out-of-college electives as part of your CBE Degree. You must have 16 CBE courses to count towards the CBE component of your flexible double degree.
It is the student's responsibility to select electives in such a way that:
- they satisfy prerequisites for the corresponding course/s.
- they conform to the rules set out in Programs and Courses or if unsure seek advice from the CBE office.
It is the student's responsibility to select the courses appropriate for their program.
