Credit eligibility for Undergraduate programs

  • For students whom are transferring from an uncompleted Bachelor’s program at an Australian recognized university to a single CBE Bachelor’s program they may be eligible for a maximum of 72 units of credit.
  • For students whom are starting a single CBE Bachelor’s program after completing a Bachelor’s program at an Australian recognized university they may be eligible for a maximum of 48 units of credit.

          **If a student is commencing a FDD the credit limit is significantly reduced.

  • For students whom have completed an advanced Diploma at TAFE or CIT they may be eligible for a maximum of 24 units of first year credit pending on the program completed and the Bachelor they will be undertaking at CBE. If they have completed an advanced diploma in accounting to do Bachelor of accounting at CBE the maximum credit is up to 24 units of first year electives.
  • For students whom have completed a Diploma at CIT or TAFE or recognized institution this can be used for admission to the university only. Not eligible for any credit.

  • For students whom have completed an associate degree of 2 years at an Australian recognized university to a single CBE Bachelor’s program they may be eligible for a maximum of 24 units of first year credit.

  • For students whom have studied 1 year at a GO8 university course Outlines need to be assessed by course conveners. (GO8 = Uni of Western Aust, Uni of Melb, Monash Uni, UNSW, UQ, Uni of Adelaide, Uni of Sydney.)

  • For students whom have studied 1 year at Non-GO8 Universities require a minimum of Distinction grade to receive specified or unspecified credit. Course Outlines need to be assessed by course conveners.

  • For students whom are transferring from an ANU uncompleted CBE Bachelor to a different CBE Bachelor the limitation on credit is if the course fits within the new program requirements (no unit limit).

  • For students whom are beginning a CBE Bachelor after completing a CBE Bachelor the maximum amount of credit is 48 units.
