Biography

Penny is a PhD scholar at the Research School of Management at ANU. Her current research is about driving sustainable business model innovation through firm valuation for companies transitioning to service-oriented business models. She is also interested in exploring customer motivations to forgo ownership for access-based consumption models. 
 
Prior to academia, she worked as a marketing practitioner in UK, India, and Australia, creating and implementing marketing campaigns and developing strategy for businesses in private and public sectors, including Energy, Sport, Information Technology, and FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods). She has over a decade of industry experience. 
 
She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy – UK (AFHEA).
