Biography

Sander Heinsalu is a Senior Lecturer of Economics. His research interests are in game theory and microeconomic theory, where he analyses markets with asymmetric information and trading frictions including noisy communication, entry costs and search and switching costs. Examples are the markets for insurance, financial assets, labour, and products and services whose quality is difficult for consumers to determine. Sander has also done research on economic epidemiology, social learning, unawareness and modal logic.  Sander’s research has been published in a number of top-ranked economics journals including Journal of Economic Theory, American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, Games and Economic Behavior, Economic Theory, International Journal of Industrial Organization and Journal of Mathematical Economics.
