Students who successfully complete the Bachelor of Statistics or the Statistics Major in the Bachelor of Science are automatically eligible to be accredited the Graduate Statistician (GStat) qualification with the Statistical Society of Australia Inc (SSAI).

The GStat qualification is professionally recognised across Australia and primarily indicates that the holder has recently completed a course of study equivalent to a degree course with a Major in Statistics, including Graduate Diplomas. More information on the GStat qualification can be found at the Statistical Society of Australia website, which includes the application form and instructions on how to apply. Note that to be able to apply for the GStat qualification, applicants must be members of the SSAI.
