Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand

To be eligible for entry into the Chartered Accountants Program, candidates must meet the Program's academic requirements and practice experience requirements.

Academic requirements for CA program

Undergraduate

To meet the academic requirements for entry into of the CA program, students must have completed a Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Finance, or Bachelor of Economics degree (or a relevant combined degree) with passes in:

*Students enrolled in a combined degree with Law (LLB) substitute all of the following:

  • LAWS1201 Foundations of Australian Law
  • LAWS1204 - Contracts
  • LAWS2203 - Corporations Law
  • LAWS2221 - Income Tax 

Graduate

To meet the academic requirements for entry into the CA program, students must have completed a Master of Accounting or the Master of Professional Accounting with passes in:
