Is the Australian Housing Crisis a Myth? 

Join Vice-Chancellor Professor Brian P. Schmidt in this year's alumni and friends reception hosted by ANU College of Law and College of Business and Economics. A panel discussion featuring fellow ANU alumni and industry experts will discuss the current state of the national housing market.

The panel will be chaired by Leo Shanahan LLB, BA '11 Media Editor at The Australian and co-host of the Sky News Business Weekend.

Dan Carton BEc, BComm '98 is currently Chair of the Canberra Racing Club's redevelopment committee and works in the residential property sector in senior advisory roles.  Dan is a non-executive director of the Canberra Race Club and non-executive director of Solar Share Australia.  He has extensive experience in a variety of industries including residential property, investment management, funds management, government, renewables, thoroughbred racing, and utilities. Dan completed the Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Commerce at The Australian National University in 1998.

Kim Sinclair MBA '19 is currently CEO of SEARMs Aboriginal Corporation.  With over ten years' experience in the Community Housing sector, her roles have ranged across the senior levels of corporate governance (including quality and risk management), corporate support (including finance), operations (property and tenancy management) and development (new business and management). Kim completed an MBA at The Australian National University in 2019.
