Social Enterprise Experience Info Session

Social Enterprise Experience Info Session

Social Enterprise Experience (CBEA3002) is a new course that provides students with an opportunity to gain an authentic learning experience in the area of social entrepreneurship in a foreign location. Students will work in teams and complete an applied project related to different areas of social entrepreneurship (e.g. microfinance, social innovation, corporate sustainability, education, philanthropy, ethical investment).  This 6 unit course can be taken as an elective in any CBE undergraduate degree and counts as credit towards the management, marketing, international business, or corporate sustainability majors.  The course will be offered for the first time in July 2019 (winter semester) in partnership with Project Everest Ventures, a social enterprise that leads projects in the developing world.  Some funding is available under the New Colombo Plan for students who are enrolled in CBEA3002.

If you’d like to know more about the upcoming projects available in Fiji, which are being offered from 1-27 July, please register your interest in attending the information session.  Staff from Project Everest Ventures will be at the session to explain more about these opportunities. Further Information about the course, participation fees, funding opportunities, and application process will also be provided during the information session.
