CBE MomentuM Information Session & Workshop

CBE MomentuM Information Session & Workshop

Please note: to be marked as attended and eligible for consideration for the upcoming semester 1, 2020 program you must be present from the start to conclusion of this two-part information session + workshop. Late arrivals or early departures will not be eligible.

Student Employability is a core value and key strategic focus at CBE, and we know that employers demand well-rounded graduates, equipped for the job market. Designed to complement world-class academic studies and co-curricular learning, MomentuM provides students with a strong foundation for continued professional development.

This MomentuM session will be split into 2 parts: MomentuM Program Information and Workshop (attendance is required from the start of the session to conclusion to be eligible to apply for MomentuM)

Part 1: Program Information:

The intensive nature of the Program requires a high-degree of personal commitment and strong time management. In this information session, the CBE Employability Coordinator will walk you through all program requirements and answer your queries regarding the program.

Part 2: Workshop: Communicating with Purpose

Taking the step to build and develop key attributes and skills to bolster confidence and support a successful transition to the professional workplace is key to your personal and professional growth and development.

Find out how to thoughtfully communicate, to effectively share your message. Through this session we will cover:

  • The value of effective communication;
  • Communicating with purpose; techniques to streamline and effectively deliver your message;
  • Non-verbal communication; and
  • Responding to challenging behaviours

**Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the session to sign-in.
