ABOUT WORKSHOP

Are you studying with the ANU College of Business and Economics? Are you looking for opportunities in China? Come along to hear from Samantha, founder of Jingjobs. Samantha will be presenting on:

  • Trends of China and Hong Kong job market
  • What general skills are needed to stay competitive

This workshop will be presenting via live video and run in English.

Profile of the Speaker

Samantha is from Sydney, Australia and an alumni of the University of Sydney. She moved to Beijing upon graduation in 2013 to learn Chinese and founded JingJobs within the same year. 

JingJobs is a recruitment consulting firm that focuses on connecting bilingual talent to start up focused opportunities in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Since 2014, JingJobs has made thousands of successful connections between jobseekers and startups, and serviced over 900 companies. With over 60,000 jobseekers aged 21-30 within their talent pool, JingJobs also regularly holds professional development workshops, mentorship programs and talent fairs in order to foster a positive, helpful community for jobseekers to find their dream careers and foster growth. 

Samantha is also on the founding team of the Beijing Women's Network (2015), an organization with over 4000 members in Beijing, that promotes peer to peer mentorship, creates a supportive community of young professional women, and provides affordable resources to encourage the personal and professional development of their members.
