Leanne has a PhD and an MPhil degree from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Arts (Accounting) degree from the Canberra College of Advanced Education (now the University of Canberra).
Leanne is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). She has 25 years of both teaching and work experience. For 20 years, until December 2006 she taught at The Australian National University and the University of Canberra. She also tutored in earlier years at the University of Canberra while she was employed in the public and private sectors. In 2000 she was a full-time MPhil student at The Australian National University, and the recipient of the University’s sole ‘Re-entry Scholarship for Women’ for that year. Currently she is a post-doctoral fellow in the school of Accounting, Business and Information Systems.
Leanne has always maintained her interest in community issues by working for various non-profit organisations on a voluntary basis, in either an accounting or an auditing role. |
