Masters Degrees in the Field of Economics

 

The following ANU Master’s degrees may form an excellent training for the PhD, and some of their courses will count as options for Part A of the PhD in Economics:

Master of Applied Economics
Master of Economic Policy
Master of Economics
Master of Environmental and Resource Economics
Master of Health Economics

Master of International and Development Economics

 

Graduate Diploma in the Field of Economics

Graduate Diploma programs are designed for students who have an undergraduate degree with no prior training in economics but are interested in pursuing postgraduate studies in economics. Also, students with an undergraduate degree in economics who want to pursue a PhD in Economics after a long gap may be asked to enroll in a Graduate Diploma as a bridging year before entering the PhD Program. In such a case, the student must pay attention to item (iv) in the admission requirements of the PhD Program. The following Graduate Diplomas in the field of Economics are offered at ANU.
