April 15: Ryan Fang, a recent first-class Honours graduate of the School, has accepted a place and full scholarship in the prestigious PhD program in Economics at the University of Chicago, starting later this year. To get into the program at Chicago, consistently ranked in the top 3 to 5 of Economics PhD Programs in the world, let alone to get a scholarship, is a tremendous achievement so we congratulate Ryan and wish him the best of success.

April 09: Professor Martin Richardson has been appointed as a lay member of the High Court of New Zealand. He will be involved in a hearing of a case between the Commerce Commission and Telecom Corporation of New Zealand.
