Ten students from ANU will be offered the opportunity of going to the University of South Australia from late November to late January to undertake eight weeks of supervised research. The award is open to undergraduate students, currently enrolled in the third (or final) year of an undergraduate degree program at ANU.
The ANU College of Business and Economics has expanded its scholarship program
to include up to Twenty (20) Undergraduate Merit Awards each year as part of its
ongoing commitment to excellence in academic achievement. The award is open to
Australian and International Students who are applying for admission to the
University for the first time. The award is valued at $5,000 – single payment
for commencing student. International or domestic students must have completed
an Australian Year 12 and have a UAI/ENTER score of at least 95 and have not been
awarded any other scholarship. Applicants must apply to ANU through UAC.
The awards are highly competitive and will be offered in first semester only.
The Mitchell Scholarship is offered thanks to
the generosity of Mr John Mitchell (BEc 1980) and provides $1,000 for a first year
student of academic merit from a rural background who demonstrates academic
ability and evidence of financial need. Students must be undertaking a degree
program in the ANU College of Business and Economics.
The Carley Robbins Memorial Scholarship is offered in the memory of Ms Carley Robbins (BAct) thanks to the generosity of the Robbins Family. The award is valued at $1,000 for a third year female actuarial studies student from a regional area who demonstrates academic ability. Students must be undertaking a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies.

The DEEWR Labour Economics Scholarship is valued at $10,000. The focus of the thesis must be labour economics.

The Bob Gregory Economics Scholarship is valued at $10,000. The focus of the thesis must be applied economics.

The College of Business and Economics makes available up to eight Honours Scholarships for Australian and International students to undertake the Honours year in one of the College's programs. Each scholarship is worth $8000 per annum for Australian and International students.

Further Information
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and the Reserve Bank of Australia have established the
Brian Gray Scholarship Program in memory of Brian Gray, who died on 24 August 2001 while serving as Executive
General Manager of APRA’s Policy, Research and Consulting Division. The Scholarship funds four honours scholarships annually, to the value of $12,500 each. As part of the scholarship, students will devote 500 or so hours to an agreed research
topic, benefiting from access to APRA expertise and data.

Applications close on 15 November (DIAC Assessment Level 3 and 4 applicants) and 15 December (DIAC Assessment Level 1 and 2 applicants).
The ANU College of Business and Economics will offer up to ten (10) half tuition scholarships for one year for commencing international undergraduate students at the University. Some scholarships are reserved for ANU partner institutions in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. The scholarships are highly competitive. Successful applicants are those who performed at a very high level in the final year or years of schooling. Applicants for this scholarship should complete an International Undergraduate Scholarship Form and be applying for admission to the University for the first time. The scholarships may be offered in both first and second semesters.
College International Merit Scholarship for Continuing Students

The ANU College of Business and Economics will
offer up to
ten (10) half tuition scholarships for one year for continuing international
undergraduate students at the University. The scholarships are highly
competitive. Applicants should have completed at least one year (48 units) but
not more than 3 years (144 units) of study towards a degree at the ANU College
of Business and Economics.
The Terrell International Scholarship

To acknowledge the contribution of Professor R D Terrell to international
relations and international student affairs, the University offers four
Terrell International Scholarships to be awarded to international undergraduate
students on the basis of their achievement after completing one year of
enrolment at the Australian National University. The scholarships meet 25% of
annual tuition fees.

One scholarship is available for a 50% waiver of tuition fees for an ANU College Foundation Student who applies
for a College program.
The scholarships may be offered in both first and second semesters.

The ANU College of Business and Economics offers a limited number of 'HECS-Style' Scholarships in the form of Commonwealth Supported Places
(CSP) for Australian students. The CSP awards are competitive.
Neil Vousden Memorial Scholarship

The ANU College of Business and Economics offers the Neil Vousden Memorial Scholarship annually to
an Australian or international applicant who is admitted to and continues to pursue a full-time program
of study in the Master of Economics. Recipient of the scholarship will be selected on the basis of
academic merit and must meet the entry requirements for the MEc. The scholarship provides an amount of 66% of the Australian Postgraduate Award for the year in which
the scholarship is awarded. The scholarship is payable in two equal amounts, one paid at the commencement
of semester one and the other at the commencement of semester two.
As part of Australia’s top ranked University*, the ANU College of Business and Economics conducts world class research and offers a range of higher degree research programs.
Scholarships and research funding up to the value of $40,000 pa will be considered for successful candidates. Selection is based on academic merit and research potential. Holders of an Australian Postgraduate Award will be considered for supplementary funding.

These awards are available to Australian and New Zealand citizens and permanent residents of Australia studying full-time. In accordance with strict criteria, the scholarships and research funding may be awarded for part-time study on a pro-rata basis.
