Overview

The Statistics Research group within the Faculty brings together staff members with a diverse range of interests and research agendas.

Staff collaborate extensively with key industry partners, especially Commonwealth Government institutions including the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE), and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).  Members of staff are active in the Statistical Society of Australia (SSAI) and the International Statistical Institute (ISI).
