To be eligible to participate in study abroad students must meet these
requirements:
- have completed 48 units of study at ANU in a postgraduate coursework degree program at the time of application;
- have completed the 48 units of study at a credit average or better in that program;
- have at least 48 units of study remaining in their current degree program.
Students taking a one year full time postgraduate degree program (eg. MBus, MFinMgmt, MMgmt, MEc) are not eligible for study abroad.
Students taking the professional accounting degrees (MProfAcc and MAcc) are not eligible for study abroad as accreditation requirements cannot be met at institutions overseas.
Students who are not Australian citizens may find it difficult to obtain a visa to study in some countries and should fully consider the time involved in visa application and the impact this may have on their study before committing to a study abroad plan.
Demand for study abroad places at some overseas institutions is very high and students should be aware that they may not be able to study at their first preference institution due to quota constraints.
