Did you know that The Australian National University ranks as Australia’s best university in, not one, but three prestigious world rankings?

 

We at The Australian National University, and in particular the ANU College of Business and Economics, are proud of our international reputation for high-quality research and teaching and are pleased to offer the following accolades to support our claim to be Australia’s best university.

1st in Australia - Times Higher Education Supplement’s World University Rankings (October 2007,October 2006)

1st in Australia - Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Academic Ranking of World Universities (August 2007,August 2006, August 2005, August 2004)

1st in Australia - Newsweek’s Top 100 Global Universities (August 2006)

These rankings are not limited to Australia. As the Times Higher Education Supplement shows, ANU is among the world’s finest institutions ranked as the 16th best university in the world.

Indeed, the Shanghai Jiao Tong University study has highlighted ANU to be ahead of every other university in the Southern Hemisphere for two years in a row.

Business is Best

As one of Australia’s most prestigious schools of business and economics, the ANU College of Business and Economics consistently outperforms its competitors in the fields of
Accounting, Economics, Econometrics and Statistics.

Overall, the College has been granted the prestigious and highest A1 band by the Australian
Government for excellence of teaching (2007).
