This page has been setup as a source of information for current Master of Finance/Master of Financial Management students.

A first year M.Fin student is looking for someone to give some additional tutoring. If you aren’t tutoring in FINM7006, FINM7008 and STAT7055 and would like to help out. Please contact Sulaiman (u4639175@anu.edu.au) for details of hourly rate etc.

Note: if you are a tutor in FINM7006 you can provide tutorial assistance on a contract basis to students in subject other than FINM7006. Similarly for FINM7008 and STAT7055.

It is a conflict of interest providing additional tutorial assistance to a student who is already a student of yours in a subject. Even if the student isn't in your tutorial but enrolled in the subject its still regarded as a conflict of interest. Tutoring them in another subject isn't a problem.

For students enrolled in Master of Finance (2 year program) and have first commenced their program in Semester 2 please make sure you do STAT8010 in semester 1 of the following year. STAT8010 is required for the first semester of the second year of the Master of Finance and it is only offered in sem1 each year. If you've started your program in sem2 it means you need to do it in sem1 of the following year so it will be completed if you move into second year (in sem 2).

This means your enrolment for sem1 should be:

FINM7006, FINM7008, STAT8010 and BUSN7008.

Sem 2:

FINM7007, FINM7041, FINM7042, FINM7009
